Boomeranger appoints Jani Leskinen as new CEO

Boomeranger Boats long-time Chief Operating Officer, Naval Architect, Jani Leskinen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the company starting 1st of July 2024. Current CEO, MBA, Miika Tammi continues in the role of Group CEO in the holding company of Boomeranger, Boomeranger Group Oy, and concentrates on new contracts and business development. He will also continue as the chairman of Boomeranger Boats Oy.

Boomeranger Boats is founded 1991 and is specialized in Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIB) of the highest quality and solutions for professional marine craft operations. Boomeranger designs and manufactures advanced composite and marine aluminium Special Operations and Air-Droppable RHIBs, Cabin Patrol Boats, Fast Rescue Boats and Expedition Boats in a purpose-built factory in Valko, Loviisa, Finland.

In addition to new boat projects supported with ILS, spare parts packages, documentation and training, Boomeranger delivers complete Mid-Life Upgrades and modifications to customer’s existing marine crafts ranging from new consoles and engines to completely new deck arrangements and integration of new capabilities.

All projects are managed and built according to a strict quality system developed for Boomeranger Boats, fulfilling the NATO AQAP quality assurance requirements. The company holds a SOLAS MED Module D Works Approval, as well as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality system certifications.
